Nathan
Do you know La Rochelle ? It’s in this charming little port city located on the Atlantic Coast that I was born 32 years ago and where I grew up. Now, let me tell you two things about me: first, I’ve traveled the roads of France as a journalist to meet the people of my country, with a pen in hand for the Sud-Ouest newspaper and a microphone for Radio France. Then, it clicked… In 2017, during a road trip in Armenia, I met the inhabitants of a remote village who were learning French through a partnership with France. It was at that moment that I decided to teach. It’s the beginning of a new adventure that has taken me from Madrid to the Carpathian Mountains (Romania) as part of NATO missions. Apart from that, as you can imagine, I continue to travel: currently, with a preference for lesser-known French regions. I also enjoy the simple pleasures of life: attending soccer games, binge-watching series and grabbing a drink at the local spot.

There’s more to France than just Paris : there’s Lyon too ! It’s there, in the second largest city of France, that I was born in the mid-90s. But it’s in its neighbor Grenoble, at the foot of the Alps, where I went to study politics and journalism. Freshly graduated from Sciences Po in 2016, my future then unfolded abroad. After an experience at a French-speaking newspaper in Beirut (Lebanon), memorable travels to Iran, Israel, and Palestine, I returned to Europe to teach at the French Institute of Bucharest. When I’m not working, I love exploring the big cities of France, between running sessions, to discover new hidden restaurants. Ideal for meeting up with my loved ones over a drink later, isn’t it ? Besides that, when I’m at home, I love cooking, listening to music, and getting lost on YouTube.

WHAT WE BELIEVE.
Is life expensive in France? Are the French really as unpleasant as they say? How do I properly use this French expression I just learned? These are the kinds of questions our students have been asking us a lot in recent years. We started answering them individually, but one day, we got tired of it and thought it would be better to share it with a wider audience. After returning to French university benches to refine our skills and thanks to over 500 students followed around the world for the past 6 years, French With Panache was born. Our goal: for them to master real-life French while gaining sharp insights and knowledge about French society, beyond stereotypes. Since 2018, our coaching has offered a personalized, caring, and demanding approach to help our students achieve their goals.
